Abstract

АНОТАЦІЯ Стечишин Т. Б. Фінансові інструменти в інвестиційній діяльності банків. -Рукопис. Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата економічних наук за спеціальністю 08.00.08 - гроші, фінанси і кредит. - Тернопільський національний економічний університет, Тернопіль, 2011. Дисертаційна робота присвячена обґрунтуванню теоретичних засад використання фінансових інструментів у інвестиційній діяльності банків та визначенню шляхів пожвавлення банківської активності на фінансовому ринку. Розглянуто економічну сутність фінансових інструментів і сформовано основні підходи до їхньої класифікації. Складено перелік інвестиційних фінансових інструментів, які використовують при здійсненні банківських інвестицій. Досліджено роль фінансового ринку як специфічної сфери обігу фінансових інструментів та структуризовано його відповідно до об'єктів, які перебувають в обігу на цьому ринку. Розроблено практичні пропозиції щодо вдосконалення діяльності банків з використанням фінансових інструментів та окреслено напрямки поліпшення структури інвестиційного департаменту банківської установи. Визначено основні методи мінімізації інвестиційних ризиків банку і шляхи активізації інвестиційної діяльності банків при застосуванні фінансових інструментів та побудовано економіко-математичну модель формування оптимального інвестиційного портфеля фінансових інструментів з метою максимізації прибутку банківської установи. The thesis is devoted to the theoretical foundations of financial instruments in the investments activities of bank institutions and identifies ways of activation of the banking practices in the financial market. The theoretical aspects of establishing the economic essence of financial instruments were made and their basic approaches to classification were formed. The lists of investment instruments that are used in banking investments were compiled. The role of the financial market as a specific sphere of circulation of financial instruments was investigated and it was structured according to the types of objects that are in circulation in the financial market. The main directions of investment bank activity were estimated and expediency of a mixed model of their activities at stock market in Ukraine was grounded. The practical proposals to improve the banks with the use of financial instruments were made and ways of the structure improvement of the investment departments of banking institution were outlined. The basic techniques of minimizing the investment risks of the bank and the ways of activation of bank's investment activities with the application of financial instruments were determined. Economic-mathematical model of formation the optimal portfolio of financial instruments to maximize profit of banking institution was built.
