Abstract

АНОТАЦІЯ Гавліч І. Б. Українська кредитна кооперація у Східній Галичині (остання третина XIX ст. - 1914 p.). Рукопис. Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата історичних наук за спеціальністю 07.00.01 - Історія України. - Інститут українознавства ім. В дисертації комплексно досліджено процес становлення та розвитку української кредитної кооперації у Східній Галичині в останній третині XIX ст. до 1914 року. Висвітлено соціально-економічні та політичні передумови становлення української кредитної кооперації регіону. Показано етапи розвитку української кредитної кооперації, основні напрямки діяльності кредитних кооперативів системи „Шульце Деліч" та „Райфайзен", визначено роль та місце кредитних кооперативів у фінансовій і господарській підтримці дрібних товаровиробників. З'ясовано значення товариства „Просвіта" у розвитку української кредитної кооперації досліджуваного періоду. У дисертації проаналізовано діяльність „Крайового Союзу Кредитового" - фінансового й організаційного центру української кредитної кооперації Східної Галичини наприкінці XIX - на початку XX ст. Досліджено діяльність перших страхових товариств Східної Галичини - „Дністра" та „Карпатії". Висвітлено роботу банків „Дністер", „Земельного банку гіпотечного". Встановлено, що у кінці XIX - на початку XX ст. українська кредитна кооперація стала найпотужнішим відділом українського кооперативного руху. Annotation Havlich І. В. Ukrainian credit cooperation in the Eastern Galicia (the last third of the XIX century - 1914). Manuscript. In the thesis we investigated the formation and development process of the Ukrainian credit cooperation in the Eastern Galicia at the last third of the XIX century till 1914, on the basis of published and archival materials, periodic press, domestic and foreign historiography. We cleared up socio-economical, and political formation background of the Ukrainian credit cooperation. We showed the developing stages of the Ukrainian credit cooperation, the activity main tendency of cooperative society systems Shultse Delich and Raifaisen, determined the role and the place of credit cooperative society in the financial and economical support of small commodity producers. We clarified the significance of "Prosvita" community in the development of the Ukrainian credit cooperation of the investigated period, which played an important role in the formation of the Ukrainian national consciousness of Galician people and became the initiator of the Ukrainian people economic revival. "Prosvita" community created the network of credit cooperative institutions, which functioned in its custody. In the thesis we analyzed the activity of "Crayovy Credit Soyuz" - credit cooperation financial and organizational centre of the Eastern Galicia at the end of the XIX - at the beginning of the XX century. We investigated the activity of the first insurers in the Eastern Galicia - "Dnister" and "Karpathia", cleared up the work of the banks "Dnister", "Zemelny bank hipotechny". We clarified the achievements and drawbacks of the Ukrainian credit cooperation at that period and its role in the training of national consciousness and patriotism. We showed the fact, that problems in the development of the Ukrainian credit cooperation at that period were connected with the staff shortage and the experience of the union work, lack of own money and financial crisis of the empire. We proved the fact, that at the end of the XIX - at the beginning of the XX century the Ukrainian credit cooperation became the most powerful department of the Ukrainian cooperative trend. Besides the financial interest, it contributed to the union of people in the certain social and national communities.
