Abstract

The paper considers the current state, conservation, regeneration and use of the genetic resources of the main forest associations and of the valuable, rare forest species in the Chernivtsi administrative regions of the Western Ukraine. The focus of the paper is closely connected to the concepts of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation.
