The purpose of the study is to reveal the issue to analyse the main directions of activity and evolution of the program principles of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries in Czechoslovakia during the interwar period, as well as its activity in the field of education and culture. Research methodology. The principles of historicism, objectivity and systematic research have been used in the study of the activities of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries in interwar Czechoslovakia. The general scientific (historical, logical, biographical) and special-historical (historical-genetic, historical-comparative, problem-chronological) methods have been used. The scientific novelty is that the cultural, educational and political activities of the UPSR in interwar Czechoslovakia are systematically covered. Conclusions. A large part of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries found themselves in exile because of the defeat of the Ukrainian revolution. The organizational structure and evolution of the party’s views took place here. Thus, members of the Foreign Delegation of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries, led by M. Hrushevskyi, became supporters of a compromise with the Bolsheviks. In contrast, the Foreign Committee of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries, headed by M. Shapoval, strongly opposed such actions. For a long time, the Foreign Committee existed as a political party. He took an active position and had a strong influence on the Ukrainian community in Czechoslovakia through various support, and political, educational and cultural structures. The need for the organization of a national and social revolution in the Ukrainian lands was recognized as the main ideological basis of the Foreign Committee of the Ukrainian Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries. The ultimate goal of the party’s activity was proclaimed the construction of the United Labour Republic of Ukraine.uk_UA
