Actual Issues of Health Financing of Public-Private Partnership.

Abstract

The priority advantages of public-private partnerships are the effective development of public health facilities; improving the quality of medical services provided by such institutions to the level of developed European countries; an alternative to purchasing medical equipment for public institutions and being able to choose a provider not only on price; implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects in the industry; stimulating entrepreneurial thinking in healthcare spending units; elimination of the corruption component. Scientists are looking at many options for business-government interaction in the healthcare sector. However, for the effective integration of the interests of the state, business and patients, appropriate conditions must be created: a regulatory framework adapted to European Union norms, which provides for the formation of mutually beneficial relations; effective management of the financial resources of the healthcare facility; qualified staffing and creating an attractive environment for employees; availability of modern high-tech equipment for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases; meeting the needs of patients by improving quality and expanding the range of health care services.
