Екскурс в епістолярій Богдана Лепкого

Abstract

Предмет дослідження у статті – епістолярна спадщина Богдана Лепкого. Матеріал, присутній у листах, стосується суспільного, політичного, наукового, духовного, культурного та літературного життя того періоду і дає можливість говорити про різноманітний горизонт зацікавлень письменника. The article deals with studying of the epistolary heritage of Bohdan Lepkyy. His letters clearly describe a social, political, scientific, spiritual, cultural and literary life in the end of the XIX – the beginning of the XX-th century as well as the horizon of interests of the writer. The analysis of the Bohdan Leplyy’s letters highlights the fact that he often paid attention to the core problems of society he lived in, gave comments, exposed his own political position. The writer often things about the sense of literary work, whom has he been writing to. The Bohdan Lepkyy’s letters also include detailed stories about the creation of some of his works. Letters dedicated to the Bohdan Lepkyy’s creative work demonstrate the model of individual consciousness, as a representation of the social consciousness in the transition between the XIX-th and the XX-th centuries.
