Abstract
In the process of the Genesis of the insurance, business was changing
perceptions of the insurance market and basic principles of its functioning.
In the article the main principles of functioning of the insurance market from a
position of theoretical insurance of science. It individually describes the fundamental
scientific theories, explains phenomena inherent in the insurance market, the basics of
consumer behavior, and determines the choice of product on the market to help to
explain the actions of each of participants of the insurance market. The aim of the
article is a deep rethinking of the logic of scientific system of knowledge of the
essence of the principles of formation of the insurance market.
Selected principles of the market of insurance services: competitiveness;
freedom of choice by the insured of the insurer; insurable interest; insurance risk; the
maximum good faith; compensation is within the actual incurred losses; franchise;
recourse (subrogation); indemnity; coinsurance and reinsurance; diversification. The
essence of each of which often has a rather ambiguous meaning.
In addition to the principles of the functioning of the insurance market, a
modern market of insurance services the whole complex of perceptions, ideas and
views aimed at the interpretation of the phenomena inherent in the insurance market.
In fact, a scientific theory is an internally differentiated and integrated system of
knowledge, which is characterized by the logical interdependence of the elements,
possibility of allocating the content of the theory of the plurality of individual
assertions and concepts that is the basis of the theory of the logical and methodological
principles and rules.
It is found that in the process of functioning of the insurance market uses
primarily theory: utility, production costs, opportunity costs, supply and demand,
public choice, probability, mathematical statistics, game theory and large numbers.
A study of the principles of functioning of insurance market said its solidity,
magnitude, and logical orderliness. The ambiguity of interpretation due to the
specificity of formation of the market of insurance services in selected countries
interfering with the existing cultural values and customs, however, each of the
principles is a required element for the functioning of the insurance market

В статье раскрываются основные принципы функционирования
рынка страховых услуг с позиции теоретической страховой науки.
Отдельно рассматриваются основополагающие научные теории,
разъясняющие явления присущи рынку страховых услуг, основ поведения
потребителей, обусловливающих выбор продукта на рынке и
позволяющих объяснить действия каждого из участников рынка
страховых услуг.
