Формування структурно-функціональних дисбалансів у ретроспективі розвитку світової валютної системи

Abstract

Розкрито системні детермінанти накопичення структурно-функціональних дисбалансів у ретроспективі розвитку світової валютної системи. Проаналізовано кумулятивні ефекти структурно-функціональних асиметрій і дисбалансів у світовій валютній системі на сучасному витку глобальних трансформацій. Аргументовано, що глобальні платіжні дисбаланси – це часткові явища, за якими стоять проблеми масштабнішого характеру, серед яких – асиметричність глобального розвитку та перманентне накопичення внутрішніх протиріч у світовій валютній системі з часів золотого стандарту. Introduction. In the beginning of the XXI century the economic fragmentarity and asymmetry of global development condition deep contradictions among different groups of countries that are accompanied with the permanent payment imbalances and structural accumulation of inner contradictions in the world currency system development. The clash of interests between the “new” and “old gravitation centres” that fi rst deal with the strategic positioning of the “new gravitation centres” in the world currency system are the most express. Purpose. The purpose of this research is the reasoning of system determinants of structural and functional imbalances accumulation in the retrospective of the world currency system development, and their cumulative effects assessment on the current cycle of global transformations. Results. This article is the thorough research of current problems in the world currency system development. Compositionally, the research is oriented on the in-depth analysis of structural and functional imbalances system-based determinants accumulation in the retrospective of the world currency system development, and on the analysis of their cumulative effects on the current cycle of global transformations. The material is stated in the projection on the relevant problems of structural and institutional evolution of the currency relationships. As a result, it was reasoned that, de facto, the current world currency system is based “on the wrecks” of Bretton-Wood agreements (especially in the part of the international institutional structure), the system with the compound manner of the payment balances correction forms its organization basis Conclusion. In the result of this research, it was proved that the global payment imbalances are the fractional phenomena that lead to the major problems such as asymmetry of the global development and the permanent accumulation of inner confl icts in the world currency system in due course of the gold standard. It was reasoned that the structural and functional imbalances, which were accumulated in the retrospective of the world currency system development, objectively condition the necessity of strategic vectors search in respect of its reform.
