Abstract
Introduction. The article examines the mechanism for forming a corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy as a key instrument of strategic management in a turbulent environment. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to combine the economic and social objectives of enterprises in order to ensure sustainable development and enhance competitiveness. Purpose. The aim is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and to develop a model of the mechanism for forming a CSR strategy that enables the integration of social and corporate components into a unified management system. Methodology. The research is based on a systemic approach, employing SWOT and PEST analysis, scenario planning, and economic-mathematical modelling (fuzzy logic, matrix evaluations), as well as an expert survey of representatives of Ukrainian transport and logistics companies. The graphical method was applied to visualise the results. Results. A logical-structural model of the CSR strategy is proposed, which encompasses strategic diagnostics, the determination of target benchmarks, a system of performance indicators, regulatory and procedural support, and feedback mechanisms. Four development scenarios for transport enterprises are identified: pessimistic, social priority, economic resilience priority, and growth constrained by external risks. Empirical findings revealed an imbalance: while the corporate component demonstrates a relatively high level, the social dimension remains underdeveloped. Conclusions. It is demonstrated that for Ukrainian enterprises it is necessary to strengthen social investments, develop non-financial reporting, and establish a balanced system of social and corporate responsibility. The proposed approach contributes to achieving a synergistic effect between economic efficiency and the social orientation of business, thereby ensuring long-term sustainability and competitive advantages.
